Commerce Casino LA Poker Classic

The Commerce Casino LA Poker Classic Tournament is an annual poker tournament that takes place in January and February.  The LA Poker Classic offers more than three weeks of daily poker tournaments with reasonable buy-ins and a good variety of poker games including Texas Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven Card Stud, and Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo.  

Many of the LA Poker Classic tournaments are two day poker tournaments.  The Championship poker tournament is a five day tournament and is a part of the World Poker Tour.

The 2005 Commerce Casino LA Poker Classic tournament begins January 26, with a no limit Texas Hold'em poker tournament.  Poker tournaments continue daily with the Championship tournament starting on February 18.  In conjunction with the 2005 LA Poker Classic, Commerce Casino will also be hosting a WPT Invitational poker tournament and a tournament on the Professional Poker Tour circuit.

2005 Commerce Casino LA Poker Classic Results

The main event of the 2005 Commerce Casino LA Poker Classic poker tournament saw 538 players competing for a total prize pool of $5,166,414.  The winner of this no limit Texas Hold'em tournament was Michael Mizrachi who picked up a first place prize of $1,859,909.  Other top winners included Haralabos Voulgaris, Hung La, Ted Forrest, Erick Lindgren, and Harley Hall.
