Double-Board Holdem Poker
These are the Double-Board Holdem Poker rules.
Double-Board Holdem Poker involves a split-pot poker game rule variation that can be applied
to many poker games (but which is generally only applied to normal Holdem poker
games).
In Double-Board Holdem Poker games, two separate five-card boards are
dealt, and the high poker hand using each board takes half of the pot. For
example, after the first
poker betting round in a Double-Board Holdem Poker game, three community cards are dealt to each
of two separate boards; after the second poker betting round, another community card is dealt
to each board; and before the final poker betting round, a fifth community card is dealt to
each board (so there will be in total ten community cards, comprising two
separate five-card Double-Board Holdem Poker boards).
Each player in the Double-Board Holdem Poker game, makes the
best poker hand that he can using each of the boards. The poker players
with the high poker hand for each board split the pot.
Double-Board Holdem Poker games, like most split poker games,
are fun in that players win more often since there are usually two winners in
each poker game (unless someone scoops the pot). Double-Board Holdem Poker
games are often played in home poker games.
