Foxwoods Casino World Poker Finals

The Foxwoods Casino World Poker Finals at Foxwoods Casino is an annual poker tournament in October and November. Foxwoods Casino is a large resort located in Mashantucket, Connecticut, and hosts a 76 table poker room. Foxwoods is a member of the World Poker Tour and the Foxwoods World Poker Finals poker tournament is one of the official Tour events.

The World Poker Finals poker tournaments take place from October 25 through November 17, with the $10,000 no limit Texas Hold'em Championship beginning on November 13. The winner of the $10,000 Texas Hold'em Championship tournament not only gets the prize money, but a $25,000 seat at the World Poker Tour Championship at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Preceding the Championship event, are a number of individual daily poker tournaments. The poker games include limit and no limit Texas Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Lo, 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo, and 7 Card Stud poker. Poker tournament buy-ins range from $100 to $10,000 (plus entry fees of $20 to $200).

On November 10 and 12, Foxwoods Casino will hold a number of satellite and super satellite poker tournaments with winners getting a seat at the $10,000 Texas Hold'em Championship tournament.
