Single table tournament games include Texas Hold'em, Omaha, and Seven Card Stud poker at various limits. Poker tournament buy-ins typically range from $5 (plus $1 entry fee) to $200 (plus $15). With so many players, there is rarely any wait for a single table tournament to fill up and begin. Party Poker has multi-table poker tournaments starting about every half hour with a similar variety of poker games and buy-ins. The poker tournaments are well organized and fun. $7 Million Party Poker Tournament The big Party Poker tournament of the year is the Party Poker Million. This no limit Texas Hold'em poker tournament takes place annually in March and is hard to beat for both the setting and the prize money. The poker tournament takes place aboard an ocean cruise ship (usually one of the Holland America luxury ships) and the prize money is in the millions. The 2006 Party Poker Million is expected to have a prize pool of $7 Million to $10 Million. Most of the players in the Party Poker Million tournament get there by playing satellite tournaments online at Party Poker. $1 Million Party Poker Tournament Every month, Party Poker hosts a poker tournament with a guaranteed $1 Million prize pool (the top 50 players usually share in the prize money). This no limit Texas Hold'em poker tournament has a $600 buy-in with a $40 entry fee. The poker tournament typically takes place near the end of the month and is very popular. Party Poker holds regular satellites to the $1 Million tournament throughout the month. Players can enter daily single table satellite tournaments for $64 (plus $6 entry fee) in which the winner gets a paid seat at the Million dollar poker tournament. There are even $7 (plus $1) satellites where the winners get a seat at the $64 satellite. Party Poker also offers daily multi-table satellite tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $10 to $32 (plus entry fees of $1 to $3). No matter the player's budget, there is a tournament that will lead to the $1 Million Party Poker tournament. $250,000 Party Poker Tournament Every week, Party Poker hosts "Quarter Million Guaranteed" no limit Texas Hold'em tournaments with a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000. The poker tournaments take place on Sunday and the buy-in is $200 plus a $15 entry fee. Players will find plenty of daily single table and multi-table satellite tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $6 to $24 plus an entry fee of $1 or $2. $200,000 Party Poker Tournament Party Poker hosts weekly no limit Texas Hold'em poker tournaments on Saturday with a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000. The buy-in for the tournaments is $200 plus a $15 entry fee. Daily satellite tournaments take place during the week with a $9 buy-in (plus $1) for the multi-table satellite tournaments and a $24 buy-in (plus $2) for the single table satellite tournaments. Super Weekday Party Poker Tournaments These Party Poker tournaments are held daily Monday through Friday and alternate between no limit and limit Texas Hold'em. The poker tournaments have a $150 buy-in plus a $12 entry fee. Throughout the day, Party Poker holds $20 (plus $2) single table satellite tournaments and $9 (plus $1) multi-table satellite tournaments. Friday Special Poker Tournaments Every Friday, Party Poker holds a $200 buy-in (plus $15) "Friday Special" limit Texas Hold'em poker tournament. Daily satellite tournaments to the Friday Special are held throughout the week with buy-ins ranging from $6 to $24 and entry fees of $1 or $2. Free Party Poker Tournaments Players should also keep an eye out for free Party Poker tournaments. These freeroll poker tournaments are frequently available and it is just a matter of keeping an eye out for them. For example, Party Poker typically has daily free poker tournaments available for players making their first deposit. Frequently, there are also freeroll poker tournaments available to all real money players. Party Poker is also known to host free poker tournaments for its top players such as $50,000 PartyPoker freeroll tournaments. Special Promotion Poker Tournaments Throughout the year, Party Poker will add variety to its tournament offerings with poker tournaments focused on special promotions. These could be anything from "Win a Trip to Vegas" tournaments to poker tournaments related to whatever is happening in the poker world such as satellite tournaments to the World Series of Poker.
